Juice Recipe for Anti-Ageing... Strawberry and Beetroot juice!
Looking for a delicious way to give your skin a little extra nourishment during the colder months? Try this vibrant strawberry and beetroot smoothie, packed with fruit and vegetables that provide vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to support overall skin health.
Strawberries are a great source of vitamin C, which helps support normal collagen production, while beetroot provides beneficial plant compounds and natural nitrates. A few fresh lettuce leaves add even more nutrients and fibre to this refreshing drink.
Enjoying this smoothie regularly as part of a balanced diet may help support healthy-looking, radiant skin. While no single juice can stop the ageing process, nourishing your body with a variety of fruits and vegetables is a great way to support your skin from within.
How to prepare:
-
You will need:
- 75g fresh strawberries.
- 85g beetroot, chopped.
- A few fresh lettuce leaves.
- Water, as needed. -
Method:
- Wash the strawberries, beetroot and lettuce thoroughly.
- Chop the beetroot into small pieces to make blending easier.
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Add a little water if you prefer a thinner, more juice-like consistency.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
Top Tip!
For an extra refreshing twist, add a few slices of fresh cucumber or a squeeze of lemon. Cucumber adds a light, cooling freshness, while lemon brings a bright, zesty flavour that complements the natural sweetness of the strawberries and earthy beetroot. You can also add a few fresh mint leaves for an extra burst of freshness.
