Zac Efron follows the Zen Diet
Heart-throb Zac Efron is now trying to lose weight after gaining a whopping 18 pounds for a recent film role.
The gorgeous 23-year-old has been spotted out this week in L.A. carrying a bag from Z.E.N foods which is a delivery service that helps celebrities lose weight by eating calorie-controlled meals.
Z.E.N. or “Zero Effort NutritionTM,” gathers all of nature’s goodness, creates clean, healthy and delicious meals tailored to fit your dietary needs, and brings this bounty straight to your table. Zac’s diet plan consists of eating 1,800 calories a day and his daily package includes everything he needs for a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus a snack and dessert too. This diet plan costs the actor a measly $50 per day.
The High School Musical star is aiming to shed the pounds he gained for his role in the upcoming film ‘The Lucky One’ where he plays an Iraq War Veteran.
“I was just eating, eating, eating”, Zac revealed.
Vanessa Hudgens, the ex-girlfriend of the young star is also a fan of Z.E.N foods.
“I’m so thankful there’s a service like Z.E.N. Foods that tastes great and makes it so easy to eat right”, she states on the company’s website.
