Weight loss ‘accelerated with the colour red’
The colour red can help people when it comes to participating in weight loss procedures, new research has suggested.
According to a study conducted by German and Swiss researchers, the tone often associated with love can have positive effects on a person's physical wellbeing too.
For instance, people who eat their snacks and daily meals from a red dish can cut their consumption by up to 40 per cent and be discouraged from overeating, The Sun reported.
On top of this, drinking from a red cup can reduce how much fluid people feel they need to consume to be satisfied.
The researchers also acknowledged that the positive effects of this colour with weight loss extend to a gym workout too.
A sight of red encourages athletes to become faster and more forceful with their exercises, such as when undertaking weightlifting reps.
Meanwhile, Brown University researchers recently highlighted that people who are trying to reach slimming goals could reach their targets quicker if they befriend an individual aiming for similar success.
