Personal trainer piles on pounds to inspire weight loss exerciseA personal trainer in the US has decided to stop exercising and eating healthily in the hope of inspiring overweight people to get involved in weight loss exercise.

Drew Manning, a 30-year-old fitness expert from Utah, said that the decision to pile on the pounds was so that he could empathise with his clients.

Mr Manning stopped adhering to his own weight loss tips on May 7th this year.

After putting on 70 lbs, the fitness fanatic is going to get back on the treadmill and show people how to lose weight fast.

Commenting on the risk of putting on weight to make a point, Mr Manning said: "To me it's worth the risk I've put my body through, being overweight, putting my body at risk in a lot of medical ways, if a few people get inspired to live healthier."

His weight loss regime will start on November 5th.

Recently, personal trainer Karen Marzec told the Chicago Tribune that hula-hooping was a great way of burning calories. She noted that people are often astonished by how tiring the low-impact workout can be.
