Holly Valance promotes ‘clean and lean’ method of weight loss
Actress and singer Holly Valance has rubbished rumours that she is overweight by posting pictures of herself online and with a svelte figure, and attributing her slender frame to the 'clean and lean' diet.
According to the 29-year-old, she wanted to set the record straight after a several unflattering pictures were published, and posted a number of images in figure-hugging dresses.
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant noted that her slimming regimen is based on celebrity personal trainer James Duigan's 'clean and lean' philosophy, which actively persuades people to lead healthy lifestyles.
This mean cutting out processed food and refined sugar and eating plenty of vegetables, white meat and fish, although the occasional treat is allowed.
In his new cookbook, Holly writes: "The hardest part is actually your head. Once you decide you want to be at your optimum, whatever that may be for you, focus on that, and not on what the Barbie girl who's been retouched within an inch of her life looks like."
