Acai Berries in Smoothies
It would be a fair assumption that everybody loves the freshness and the tastiness of a smoothie. Nicole Richie, Kate Hudson and Denise Richards, who all have a slim, sleek figure in common, have reportedly tried the Acai berry diet by adding the product into drinks such as coffee, cocktails and smoothies.
I’ve put together some quick and easy instructions below to make yourself a delicious drink
You will need:
– 1 scoop of Acai Berry Diet Powder
– 1 cup of your favourite yogurt or just vanilla
– 1 cup of pomegranate juice
– 1 banana
Method:
– Place the above ingredients into a blender
– Blend the ingredients until you acheive a thick consistency
– Your fresh fruit smoothie is ready
– Pour into a glass and drink
The beauty of this recipe is that it can be easily changed for variation by adding mix of flavours.
For variation you could try adding:
– Orange Juice
– Pineapple Juice
– Grape Juice
By experimenting, you will find the right taste for you.
Acai Berry Milkshakes
Another variation of using Acai berry is making a mouth watering milkshake.
You will need:
– 1-2 scoops of Acai Berry Diet Powder
– 1 x 100 grams of Vanilla frozen yoghurt
– 1/5 cup of milk
Method:
– Place the ingedients into a blender
– Blend together until the mixture is free of lumps
– Pour into a glass and enjoy
Milkshakes can also be varied by changing ingredients for a new flavour that suits you.
Acai Energy Smoothie
Power packed with nutrients- what a great way to start your day!
You will need:
– 1-2 scoops of Acai Berry Diet Powder
– 1 Organic banana
– 8 oz organic plain rice milk
– 4 oz organic mixed berries
Method:
– Place the ingredients into a blender
– Blend the ingredients until they are mixed
– Add some ice if required
– Enjoy!
Acai Berry Ice Cream
(Requires an Ice Cream maker)
A tremendously tasty way of using acai berry, after all who doesn’t like ice cream?
Adding acai berry into food can make those well earned treats such as Ice Cream, a little healthier.
You will need:
– 1-2 scoops of Acai Berry
– 2/3 cup of sugar or sugar substitute
– 1/2 cup of corn syrup
– 6 tablespoons of lemon or lime juice
Method:
– Place the ingredients into a blender
– Blend the ingredients until they are mixed
– Pour the mix into your ice cream maker
– Turn the ice cream maker on and enjoy your Acai Berry Ice Cream.
You can now enjoy your Ice Cream with the healthy benefits of antioxidents and nutrients that are found within Acai Berry.
Acai Berry Whipped Cream
Made some Ice Cream? Why not try Acai Berry whipped cream as a healthy option to pour over it? Or as an alternative, pour over fruit. It is terrifically tasty too.
You will need:
– 1 cup of whipping cream
– 2 teaspoons of Acai Berry juice
– 1 teaspoon of sugar or sugar substitute
Method:
– Pour whipping cream (cold) into a bowl
– Add other ingredients
– Whip together very slowly, using an electric mixer or a whisk
– Once the cream begins to stiffen, whisk faster
– The cream will stiffen further and will hold together peaks
– Use as a topping for a desert of your choice
The amount can be varied and you can make as much as you want by increasing eash ingredient in the same ratio above. Similarly, the taste can be varied by using other ingredients of your choice.
Remember, the more creative you tend to be with different fruity ingredients, the more delicious your acai berry recipes will be.
